Antonio Ortiz advises clients on a wide range of legal and business issues utilizing his extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of business litigation disputes, including breach of contract disputes, business torts, fraud and negligent misrepresentation actions, deceptive trade practice and consumer warranty disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty.

 

Mr. Ortiz's practice also focuses on commercial construction disputes, including evaluating and defending against lien claims (including mineral liens), advice about lien rights and remedies, negotiating with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation or litigation.

 

Mr. Ortiz also has broad experience working on commercial bankruptcy matters, including representing creditors and other interested parties in commercial bankruptcy and reorganization cases and in disputes which involve preferential and fraudulent transfers. In addition, Mr. Ortiz has been involved in numerous loan workouts and has broad experience in representing borrowers in all litigation settings.
