Susan M. Womble
Born Highland Park, Michigan in 1953.  She attended Del Mar College and Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi graduating with a BBA in accounting in December, 1987.  In 1988, she began working for KRIS-TV, the local NBC affiliate, as the controller and became licensed in Texas ACPA. For the next twelve years, Susan took on various responsibilities including handling the purchase of two low-power television stations, which were in bankruptcy.  In 2002, Susan obtained a Masters of Science from the University of North Texas, graduating with Highest Honors.  In 2003 she attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and obtained her J.D. in 2006
While in law school, she was her section’s first year Senator of the Student Bar Association and the SBA Treasurer in her second year.  As a second and third year, she was a member of the Board of Advocates, receiving an award for special service to the BOA.

She was also inducted in Phi Delta Phi, Tarlton Inn. During law school, Susan interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Texas for now Bankruptcy Judge Craig Gargotta and also interned for the Attorney General of Texas in the Bankruptcy & Collections Civil Litigation Division. 
Following graduation, Susan clerked for Chief Judge Ronald B. King in the Western District of Texas Bankruptcy Court. 
Bar association memberships include: Texas, American, Corpus Christi, and the Federal Bar Association and member of the Coastal Bend Women Lawyers Association.  She is licensed in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas District Court and Bankruptcy Court. Other memberships include Texas Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs.
