Late to the practice of Law, Harlin was a successful small business owner for 10 years between his BA and JD degrees. Harlin is active in community-theater, serving 4 years on the board of the Corpus Christi Playhouse and two years as president. Harlin regularly represents various non-profit groups pro bono, including the South Texas Aids Society.
